Plain terms

Shortline is operated by Financial Dominance Order LLC (Lake Shore Digital), Wyoming, USA. Last updated 2026-11-04. This is a short, readable version; it is the whole agreement until a longer one replaces it.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and use your own email address.

What you get

A subscription grants credits each billing period. Each video shows its credit cost before it starts. If a video fails to render, its credits are returned automatically. Credits from a paid period stay usable for 90 days after that period ends. Top-up credits stay usable while a paid plan is active.

Your content

You own the videos you make and may use them commercially, including in client work and monetized channels. You are responsible for the facts and claims in the lines you type and the source material you paste.

What is not allowed

No content that imitates a real person's voice or likeness, uses characters or music you do not have rights to, harasses anyone, is sexual, or is illegal where you live. Voices in Shortline are licensed stock studio voices; there is no cloning. We may stop a render or close an account that breaks these rules, and credits spent on removed content are not refunded.

Fair use

Plans are for one person or one team's normal use. Automated bulk generation beyond your credits, resale of raw access, or sharing one account across a company is not allowed.

Payments and refunds

Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge; the period you already paid for stays active. We do not refund a period that has been started, except where the law requires it. If you were charged and never received access, or were charged twice, email hello@lakeshoredigital.co and we will fix it.

Partners

Partner commissions are paid on net payments received from members attributed at signup, for 12 months, at the rate recorded for the partner. Fraudulent or self-referred signups are not paid.

Service

We aim to render every video but do not promise uptime or that a given render will finish; failed renders refund their credits. The service is provided as is, and our liability is limited to what you paid in the last three months.

Privacy

We store your email, your videos and the lines you type so the service works. We use an analytics tool for aggregate usage. We do not sell your data. Email hello@lakeshoredigital.co to delete your account and files.
